Irene A. Rice

Irene A. Rice, 71, of Providence, died Friday. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Ellis. Born in Winstead, CT, she was the daughter of the late Theodore M. and Loretta (Williams) Rice. Irene worked in the jewelery industry. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking. Besides her husband she leaves her children, Regina Norton, Charlene Burrell Hazard, Terry Malo, Wilson, Paul, Dennis and Sharmin Noka; sisters, Viola Calhoon, Patricia Fischer; brothers, Ward and Theodore Rice; a host of loving grand and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday at 4:00 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
