Irene Metko

Irene Metko, 76, of Curtis Corner Rd., Wakefield, died Thursday October 13, 2011 at the Coventry Nursing Home. She was the wife of William Metko since 1956. Mrs. Metko was born in Athens Greece. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and rides to Galilee but most of all loved her family. She was the mother of Mary Metko, Evangelina L. Metko, Niko Metko and Panaioti Metko; grandmother of Keith Morse, Mikayla and Makenzie Metko. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Peace Dale.
