Hunter David Pierce

Hunter David Pierce, age 20, of South Kingstown, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, he was the beloved son of Darin Scott and Christine Elizabeth (Meeker) Pierce. Hunter was a graduate of the South Kingstown High School class of 2012. He worked in customer service at Stop & Shop in Narragansett. Besides his mother and father he leaves his brother, Logan Charles Pierce; his sister, Honor Elizabeth Pierce; grandparents, the Rev. Charles and Gretchen Pierce and David and Nancy Meeker of Grand Rapids, Michigan and many wonderful friends. Visiting hours will be Monday, December 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. The family will have a private graveside ceremony. A public celebration of Hunter will take place on Friday, December 19th at 6:00PM at the South Kingstown High School Auditorium.
