Hung Ba Tran, 63, died peacefully on his birthday, September 18, 2019, surrounded by all his friends and family, with a smile on his face. Hung was born in Vietnam and became a history teacher. In 1980, he took his family fleeing his homeland to RI, where he worked hard to support his family, most recently as the owner of Personal Touch Cleaners for the past 26 years. Hung was a very active member of the Vietnamese Catholic Community by serving as a director in RI for over 15 years. Hung loved to fish with brothers and friends, garden, and share cooking recipes. Hung's charisma, humor and generosity has touched so many people. He will always be remembered as a person with great strength, impeccable wisdom and a big heart. Hung was always humble and a grateful person. He will live on forever in our hearts Visiting hours will be held at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, RI on Friday September 27th, 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield, RI at 10 am Saturday, September 28th.
