Helen Alice Silva

Helen A. Silva, 82, formerly of West Warwick, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 18, 2011, in Providence at the Elmhurst Extended Care Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Silva. Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Manuel F. and Mary (Mello) Caetano. She is survived by three children, Paul J. Silva of Hope, Kathryn M. Silva of Sebastian, FL and Jane E. Flora of Carolina; and two grandchildren, Michael P. Silva and Jessica T. Flora. The funeral will be 8:45 AM Thursday from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Romuald Chapel, 61 Atlantic Street, Matunuck. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are Wednesday 6-8 PM.
