Helen B. Eaton

Helen B. Eaton, 97, of South Kingstown, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was the wife of the late Reuben Bartlett Eaton, Jr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Bardell. Mrs. Eaton was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Class of '46, and worked as an Elementary School Teacher for the South Kingstown School Department for 25 years before retiring in 1989. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and painting. She was also a volunteer at Wickford Art Association. She is survived by her daughter and son, Nancy Eaton and Thomas M. Eaton; her grandchildren Melissa J Smith, Eva L. MacInnes, Keith A. MacInnes, Amos C. Eaton, Michael R. Eaton, Jayde H. Eaton; her great-grandchildren Alexander Eaton, Ariana Cotnoir, Kira Rosario, Amara Eaton, Asher Eaton; great-great grandson Dylan J Collard Jr. She was predeceased by her son, Reuben Bartlett Eaton, III. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 3, from 4-6 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Kingstown Animal Shelter.
