Helen G. Card

Helen G. Card, 78, of North Kingstown, died Monday. She was the wife of the late Alan R. Card. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and Helen L. (McKelvey) Allen. Mrs. Card was employed at Wakefield Spinning Mill for 25 years, retiring in 1994. Mrs. Card was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Wakefield for many years. She is survived by two sons; James Holland of North Kingstown, Douglas Holland of west Kingston; three daughters, Vickie Sherman of Richmond, Lois Banks of Peace Dale, Etta McKiel of Maine; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; a brother Robert Clark of South Kingstown; and a sister Margaret Silvia of Florida. She was the sister of the late Charles Allan, John Clark, Evelyn Sain and Ruth Clark. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 19th at 10 AM in the Friends Cemetery, Route 138 Richmond. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
