Harry W. Bill Larose, Iii

Harry William LaRose III, 68, of Birch Street, Narragansett died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at home. He was the son of the late H. William LaRose Jr. and Mildred L. LaRose (nee Waters) and was born in East Greenwich, RI on May 19, 1949. He attended college at the University of South Carolina and the University of Massachusetts. He loved the ocean and ultimately pursued a path of commercial fishing for 30 years. For many years, he was a lobsterman on various boats out of Point Judith, RI and also crewed on longline fishing vessels. He is survived by older brother, Alan LaRose, and his wife Katherine LaRose (nee Stencel) of Fremont, CA and a younger sister, Susan Arnold and her husband, Lewis Arnold of East Matunuck, RI. He enjoyed his nieces, Renee (LaRose) Jessup, Melissa (Arnold) Rigamonti and nephews, Gregory LaRose and John Arnold, as well as many special grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial service will held on Tuesday February 27th at 1 pm in the Peace Dale Congregational Church, 261 Columbia Street, Peace Dale. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
