Harry Milton Johnson Sr., 99, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 11th. He was born in Westerly, RI, April 16, 1922 to his parents Irving and Lucy Johnson. Harry was the loving husband of the late Freida I. Johnson (Stanton) for 67 years. Harry was a proud member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe, as well as WWII Army veteran. He was also a dyer for 55 years at Kenyon Piece Dye Works. Harry is survived by his granddaughter; Nichole Johnson, great-grandchildren; Angel Johnson and Brandy Rae Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his children; Harry Johnson Jr. and Ida Johnson Ronsueville. Visitation will be held Friday, December 17th from 11:30-12:30 pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 pm in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
