Harriet J. Mitchell

Harriett J. Mitchell, 105, passed away March 16, 2022 in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Mitchell, Jr. Born in Narragansett, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Willa (Quebec) Johnston. Harriet enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was an assembler of the Eastern Star and a communicant of the Wakefield Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Robert C. Mitchell, Betty Ann Whitney, Margaret Pierce, Harry Mitchell, and Charles E. Mitchell, and nineteen grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Paul Johnston and Carolyn Bohuslav. A visitation for Harriett will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM followed by a service in the church at 11 AM in the Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Wakefield.
