Harold E. Taylor

Harold E. Taylor, 85, of Narragansett, died Monday. He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Cochran) Taylor. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Benjamin F., Sr. and Mary Louise (Harvey) Taylor. Mr. Taylor was employed at Kenyon Mill for 37 years, retiring in 1994. He attended the Perryville Bible Church and served honorably with the United States Navy during WW II. He is survived two children, Jeffrey E. Taylor of Narragansett and Pamela Edwards of Roanoke, Illinois; a sister, Helen Northup of Peace Dale; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Frank Taylor, Leonard Taylor, Mary Hargraves, Marjorie Taylor and Doris Wilson. A private committal service with military honors will take place in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
