Haley Margaret Dowdell

Haley Margaret Dowdell, 25, of Wakefield peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 surrounded by her family after a courageous life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Haley was a graduate of South Kingstown High School and studied at the University of Rhode Island and the Community College of Rhode Island. She was an avid reader and knitter, a passionate cook and a Boston Bruins superfan. She will be remembered by all those who held her dear for her courage, determination and spunky sense of humor. She is survived by her parents, David and Jaime Dowdell, her beloved sister Dana Dowdell and many other loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 30th from 5pm-8pm at Avery Storti Funeral Home in Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
