Grace R. Sherman

Grace R. Sherman, 74, of Metaterraine Avenue, Wakefield, died Monday. She was the beloved wife of Stuart A. Sherman, Jr. for 53 years. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Cleon and Mary (Teftt) Russell. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Duane Sherman and Lisa Babcock, both of Wakefield; three sisters, Jean Greene of Florida, Gloria Houston and Margaret Richmond, both of Wakefield; a brother, James Russell of Wakefield; and a grandson, Samuel Babcock of Wakefield. She was the grandmother of the late Matthew Babcock. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 AM in the Perryville Cemetery, Old Post Road, Perryville. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday 5-8 PM.
