Grace M. Quigley, 82, of North Kingstown, died peacefully Friday. She was the former wife of the late Anthony J. Quigley. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Louis P. Dimon and Anne (Taylor) Stedford. Mrs. Quigley was employed at the University of Rhode Island for 36 years retiring in 2012. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and canning the vegetables from her garden. She is survived by three children, Sandra L. Steele, Joseph A. Quigley, and Sherry A. Quigley, all of North Kingstown; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Gardiner of Wakefield; and a brother Clifford Dimon of Wakefield. She was the mother of the late Debra Jean Quigley, and sister of the late Louis Dimon and John Dimon. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, October 25th at 10:30 am at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
