Gloria Prince

Gloria Prince, 90, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Tommy Rogers. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of Howard and Ruth Prince.

Gloria moved into the Heritage Apartment Program in North Kingstown, RI in 1981, and most recently resided at the Fiore group home since 2020.

Gloria’s vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who knew her. She possessed an uncanny ability to organize by color, a talent that brought a smile to everyone’s face. Gloria also held a unique gift for connecting with others through the art of letter writing, she was a beloved pen pal to many, faithfully sharing stories and keeping friendships alive. Gloria lived life authentically and true to herself. She found joy in the simple things- the beauty of nature, the changing seasons- and deeply appreciated those who provided care and support.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 9, 2024, from 11 am -1 pm in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield RI 02879.
