Glenn H. Gough, 77, of Charlestown, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at South County Hospital. He was the loving husband of Janice (Burrows) Gough for 57 years. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late James and Marjorie (Houston) Gough. Glenn worked for the Wakefield Branch Company for 30 years before starting his own landscaping business. Glenn was a founding member of the RI Antique Tractor Club in which he engaged in many fairs, festivals, parades and plow days both in and out of state. Additionally, he was also a member of the Northeast Two-Cylinder Club. His love and passion for antique tractors stemmed from the years of restoration work he did on them with his father. Glenn also was a black powder enthusiast where he participated in and won many competitions. Glenn loved his tractors and guns but being with his family and to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a big ol’ cheeseburger with his friends was what was most important to him. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Glenn “Skip” Gough, Jr., and Kristine Gough, two grandchildren, Brittany Gough and her husband Ross Ricciarelli, and Brett Gough and his wife Brittany, and one great grandchild, Jaxson Ricciarelli. A graveside service for Glenn will be held Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at 11 AM in New Fernwood Cemetery, 3102 Kingstown Rd. (Rt. 138), Kingston, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
