Glenn A. Abrahamson

Glenn A. Abrahamson, 78 of Narragansett, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 10, 2018. He was the devoted husband of 58 years to Betty L. (Barker) Abrahamson. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John A. and Martha A.(Chase) Abrahamson. Glenn proudly grew up in the Edgewood section of Cranston. Rebuilding efforts after The 1954 Hurricane brought him and his talents to Narragansett where he married and raised his family. Glenn was the owner of Viking Sheet Metal and Roofing Company which spanned four generations. Glenn was founder and president of The Road Gents Club. He was a member of Hope Lodge #25 and a 32nd degree Mason. Glenn was an avid collector and loved photography. He could be found cruising South County day or night. Besides his wife he is survived by his four children; Karen Rockwell, John Abrahamson and his wife Rose, Erik Abrahamson, Kirsten ONeill and her husband Timothy: grandchildren Brittney Rockwell, Jared and Ana Abrahamson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4-7pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St Wakefield. Services will be private.
