Glendora U. Dow

Glendora U. Dow, 91, of Toms River, New Jersey, died Wednesday, May 9th at South County Hospital in South Kingstown, RI. She was the beloved wife of Walter M. Dow for 64 years. Born in Kenilworth, NJ, she was one of nine children of the late John H. and Katherine (Baumann) Enz. She was a graduate of Scotch Plains High School. Mrs. Dow worked for the Bell Telephone Company, SFD Laboratories and Coburn Industries. She will be remembered for her heart of love for her family and friends, waltzes and hymns, gracious giving hands, and her wise counsel. Besides her husband, she is survived by twin daughters, Jolaine Peace of Hawthorne, NY and Nadia Jennings of Wakefield, RI; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Calvary Bible Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Calvary Bible Church, 32 Avice Street, Narragansett, RI 02882.
