Gilbert F. Reels, Jr.

Gilbert F. Reels, Jr., 77, of North Kingstown, passed away Friday, July 20th. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Gilbert F., Sr., and Doris (Stanton) Reels. Mr. Reels worked in construction his entire life, and more recently had been working with his sons, until retiring. He enjoyed horseshoes, golf and bowling. He is survived by nine children, Gilbert "Ganzs" Whitford of Newport, Dean Reels of, CT, Darrell Reels of CT, Cindy Perry of CT, Doreen Reels of Pennsylvania, Danny Perry of CT, Todd Perry of CT, Darin Reels of Pawtucket, and Dwayne Reels of CT; twenty five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Saturday, July 28th 12-2 pm, followed by a service at 2 pm. Burial will take place in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
