Gertrude Elizabeth Driscoll

Gertrude E. Driscoll, 89, formerly of East Providence, died Friday. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Driscoll. Born in Rehoboth, MA, she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Mort) Dengal. Mrs. Driscoll enjoyed antiquing, knitting, and ceramics. Surviving are two children, Christine A. Driscoll of South Kingstown and John H. Driscoll of San Diego, CA; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Emily Brisson, Joseph Kraemer, and Frieda Dengal. A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 2:30 pm at Winslow Gardens, 40 Irving Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private.
