Geraldine I. Adams

Geraldine I. Adams, of Narragansett, died Friday, November 6th. She was the wife of the late Clyde B. Adams. Born February 8, 1921 in Montreal, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Lucy (Sweeney) Huntoon. Mrs. Adams was an Executive Secretary for General Electric, retiring in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church and a longtime volunteer at South County Hospital. She is survived by two children; Joyce Desposito of Kingston and Richard Adams of Littleton, CO; a brother, Leonard E. Huntoon of Dorval, Quebec; five grandchildren, Jennifer Bartley of VA, Lisa Phaneuf of RI, Amy Rogers, Molly Anderson and Timothy Adams, all of CO; and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Francis L. Huntoon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett. Burial will take place in Montreal. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
