Georgia Lloyd

Georgia Lloyd, 82, of Rodman St., Narragansett, died Friday. She was the wife of the late Robert D. Lloyd. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth C. and Beatrice (Crossley) Chappell. Mrs. Lloyd was a recovery room supervisor at Roger Williams General Hospital for several years before retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. Peter’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church. She leaves a son Robert D. Lloyd Jr; daughters, Karen J. Lague and Susan R. Hogan all of South Kingstown; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was sister of the late Kenneth C. Chappell Jr. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 12 Noon in St. Peter’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, 72 Central St., Narragansett. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
