George Weeden III, born December 5, 1944, was a resident of Providence, Rhode Island. He was the son of George Weeden Jr., Mother Lillian (Potter) Jordan. He was born in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
George proudly served in the United States Army and the United States Air National Guard for a combined total of 27 years. He worked at Frame in East Providence and later at Bryant University Sodexo Cafe for 12 years as a cook. He also worked at Rhode Island Hospital in maintenance.
He was a dedicated member of the community and served on the Board of Directors at the Frontenac Club in West Warwick, Rhode Island. George had a passion for fishing and science fiction.
George shared 25 years of companionship with Joyce Blaxton.
He is survived by his sons, David, (wife Tammy); Anthony, Armando, (wife Lorisa); and his daughter, Aleathia (Weeden) McNab and her husband, Robert. He is also survived by his sisters, Sandra (Weeden) Frisby and Mary (Weeden) Hyman.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Eugene, Raymond and Renee. He is survived by his brothers George Stevens (wife Cheryl), Joey (wife Dawn), Larry Johnson (wife Linda) and sister Margaret Jordan.
He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
