George Silva

George Sliva, 77, of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at home. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Lloyd) Silva for 33 years. Born in Providence, the son of the late George and Urbina (Pizzi) Silva. George was a Head Produce Manager for Stop & Shop for 47 years and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved reading. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Nathaniel Silva of Exeter; his sisters, Shirley Burgess and Barbara Hicks and his brothers, Ronald and Gerald Silva, all of East Providence. He was the brother of the late John Silva. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, 9-10:30 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will follow with military honors in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
