George R. LaFlamme, 91, of Seekonk passed away on January 26, 2026. Born in Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Armand LaFlamme and Violet (Grant) LaFlamme.

George had a big, fun-loving personality and loved getting a rise out of people. He had a strong work ethic and was proud of being able to give his family a comfortable life. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and worked for MagCo Plastics, Lebon Tool and Texas Instruments. As a younger man he loved playing golf with his friends, dancing with his wife and traveling, especially to San Francisco and Aruba.

George is survived by the love of his life, Joan (Fregeole) LaFlamme. They were married for 70 years and were inseparable.

He is also survived by his son, George A. LaFlamme; his daughter, Gail (LaFlamme) Dalton (Gary); his grandchildren, Jared Dalton (Megin), Adam Dalton (Julia), Cailyn LaFlamme, and Tyler LaFlamme; his great-grandchildren, Emma Dalton and Grayson Dalton; his sisters, Jane Schiappa and Irene Scolovino (Richard); and many nieces and nephews.

George is pre-deceased by 8 siblings, Alice, Shirley, Nelly, Connie, Muriel, Bob, Walter, and Armand (Junior).

Funeral services for George will be private.
