George J. Kutcher, Jr., 79, of Jerusalem, died Saturday. He was the former husband of Joan Hollister Hall. Born in New Jersey, he was a son of the late George and Anne (Aiken) Kutcher. Mr. Kutcher owned and operated the WESCO Service Station in Mt. Kisco, New York for many years, retiring in 1999. After retiring, he moved to Rhode Island where he operated the B&G Marina in Jerusalem with his companion and partner Betty Fitzgerald. During the Korean Conflict, he served with the Marines and earned his wings to be a Paratrooper and served as a radio announcer for Meteor Radio. Mr. Kutcher enjoyed boating and sailing for much of his life and loved to attend airshows. He is survived by two daughters, Beth Meehan of White Plains, NY and Christy Cecera, of Mahopac, NY; six grandchildren: Kimberly, Katheryn, Joseph, Melissa, Lauren, and Rachel; and two great-grandchildren: Kylee and Oliver. He was the father of the late Robert George Kutcher and Carol Lynn Kutcher. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Tuesday 4-7 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dialysis of Wakefield, 10 High Street, Unit 3, Wakefield, RI 02879
