George R. Greer

George R. “Ron” Greer, 74, of North Kingstown, died peacefully Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 at the Morgan Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William R., Sr., and Margaret A. (Richardson) Greer.

Ron was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

He is survived by his daughter, Veronica L. Houston of South Kingstown, a brother, William R. Greer, Jr. of North Kingstown, a niece, Rebecca Florio and a nephew, Robert Greer, Jr. He was the brother of the late Robert R. Greer.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Monday, December 11th at 11:30 AM from the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a committal service with military honors at 1PM in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Calling hours will be Sunday, December 10th from 5 to 7 PM.
