George L. Champlin

George L. Champlin, 73, Wakefield, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 5, 2015. Born in South Kingstown, he was the son of the late George H. and Alice (Brown) Champlin. He was a direct descendent of the Royal House of Canonicus and a member of the Narragansett Indian Tribe. George is survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was the brother of the late Alyce Machado, Bernice W. Champlin and Scott Champlin. A private funeral will be held in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, and burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
