George G Arnold

George G. Arnold, 80, of Wakefield, died Tuesday at his home. He was the beloved husband of Arlene (Cook) Arnold for 52 years. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Albert and Viola (Holloway) Arnold. Mr. Arnold retired from the Raytheon Corporation and he was a Korean Conflict Era Army Veteran. Besides his wife he is survived by three children, Joanne Arnold of Wakefield, Stephen Arnold and his wife Sherry of West Kingston, and Keith Arnold and his wife Grace of Warwick; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Arnold and Katherine Arnold. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Friday, October 31st, in the Church of the Ascension, Wakefield. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Ascension, 370 Main Street, Wakefield, RI 02879.
