Gaynell E. Zukowski

Gaynell Zukowski, 91, of Austin Street, Wakefield, died Friday, July 31st. She was the wife of the late Joseph Zukowski. Born in Key West, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Eulee (Russell) Roberts. Mrs. Zukowski was the owner of Gay’s Beauty Shop in Virginia, retiring in 1965. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Winter Springs, Florida. She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor Dykstra of Wakefield and Faye Whitaker of Virginia; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Adam Zukowski and sister of the late Cleora Brehm, Milton Roberts, Jr., Kermit Roberts and William “Billy” Roberts. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 16th, in the Wakefield Baptist Church, 236 Main Street, Wakefield.
