Gary Austin Butterworth

Gary A. Butterworth, 77, of Wakefield, passed away Monday October 7, 2024 at South County Hospital. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth Anne (McNulty) Butterworth. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Hubert and Arlene (Tanner) Butterworth.

Gary worked as a Zoning Officer for the city of East Providence for many years before retiring. He was a member of Mason Rising Sun Lodge of East Providence, Jenks Lodge No. 24 F & AM, and the Rising Sun Lodge No 30.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother, Roger H. Butterworth.
