Garett Blair Macdonough

Garett Blair MacDonough “Moe”, 75, of Narragansett passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Corey) MacDonough for 51 years. Born in Trenton, NJ, a son of the late George P. and Margaret (Cox) MacDonough. Mr. MacDonough was a merchant marine seaman and commercial fisherman for many years and was a lifelong member of the Drones Club. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Paul B. MacDonough and his wife Kim of Naples, FL, Enoch J. MacDonough and his wife Kristi of Charlestown, Melissa MacDonough and her husband Daniel Taber of West Warwick and Daniel J. MacDonough of Narragansett ; six grandchildren, Kelsi, Morgan, Abigail, Shannon, Garett and Andrew MacDonough; four brothers, George MacDonough of Conroe, TX, Donald MacDonough of Bellingham, WA, Gordon MacDonough in AZ and Robert MacDonough of Narrows, VA and two sisters, Eleanor E. Strong of Wakefield and Margaret “Honey” Casey of Port Charlotte, FL. He was the father of the late Scott T. MacDonough. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 11 am in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI. Visiting hours Friday 4-6 pm and Saturday 9-11 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pt. Judith Fishermen’s Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 3315, Narragansett, RI 02882.
