Gail Emma Bolt Bradley was born January 30, 1947. She was the oldest child of Beatrice and Robert Boldt. She grew up with her younger brother, Karl in Narragansett close to Narragansett Beach and the Pier.

She excelled in academics in the Narragansett school system where she met many lifelong friends. She graduated from South Kingstown high school and went on to study at the University of Rhode Island graduating in 1968. She was a devoted member of the Sigma Kappa sorority and a Ramette while an undergrad. She used her degree to become a special education teacher.

At URI, she met her loving husband and partner in life, Edward. They were married the following summer on July 26, 1969. Their marriage spans three children and eight grandchildren and many dogs over 57 years. From the streets of Providence to the woods of Exeter to the Ocean side of Narragansett to the sun of Naples, Florida, Gail spent her entire life’s journey thinking about others, including friends and family and always putting them first. She was the most devoted and loyal fan to any activity her family and friends participated in, but had spent nearly as many hours on the sidelines of the soccer field as her husband, Ed.

She became a grandmother in 1996 for the first time, which she cherished for the last 30 years, loving and savoring every moment with her 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Her husband Ed will miss her dearly. She is survived by her oldest son Brian, and his two sons Talan and Landon, her middle son Michael and his wife Jessica, and their children Logan, Keegan, Brooke and Jordan, and her daughter Jill, her husband John, and their sons Liam and Reece. Our extended family and friends are too many to name, but all have had a special place in her heart and life.

Gail was always quick to come to the aid of someone but also just interested in conversing about current events or the newest book she had read. Over the years, she is best known as the ultimate tour guide, the consummate party planner and the hostess for events for family, friends, and soccer teams. Only second place to the love of her grandchildren, Gail had a deep love for animals and pets. She will be joining her first dog love Lexi and her late grand dogs. She will be missed by her other family dogs.

In the last few years, as her own health began to decline, she continued to devote much of her time and energy to caring for and supporting her husband. She was a caregiver in every sense of the word—always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. After a lifetime of caring for others, she can now finally rest, surrounded by the love she so freely gave to everyone around her. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday August 25, 2026.

Arrangements are in the care of Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St. Wakefield, RI 02879. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 2-6PM. A Prayer Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 5PM.
