Franklin E. Linton, Iii

June 28, 1947 — April 4, 2025

Franklin E. Linton, Jr., 77, of Exeter, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Germaine G. (Berube) Linton. Born in Covington, Indiana, he was a son of the late Franklin and Arline (Nicholson) Linton.


Franklin enjoyed the simple things in life, fishing, playing horseshoes, and hanging out with his friends. He especially enjoyed the company of his two dogs, Heather and Cooper, who were always by his side. He was a United States Army Veteran.


He is survived by his closest Friends who were like a family to Everett, Nick Kettle, Ted Nataly, and Edmund Pease. He also leaves behind his cousin, Linnea Tuttle, a nephew and numerous cousins.


A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 9 to 10 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a funeral home service at 10 AM. Burial with military honors will take place in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pug Rescue of New England, 14 Milliston Rd, PMB 190, Millis, MA 02054.
