Frank Michael Stroscio, 71, of Wakefield, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Frank was a kind-hearted, easygoing man who was loved by all who knew him.
He graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology and enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career. He worked at Polaroid for 27 years as an Engineering Manager, followed by roles at TBM as a Senior Management Consultant, Conmed Medical as Director of Continuous Improvement, and Steris Corporation as Director of Lean Operations.
Frank had a deep love for animals and especially adored his Siberian Huskies, Mya and Kody. A true music lover, he enjoyed playing guitar and was in a band affectionately called “The Boyband.” His playlist included favorites like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Allman Brothers.
He was a black belt in Kenpo Karate and a respected karate teacher at the Family Karate Center in Woonsocket, RI, where he taught children with great dedication. Frank was also a believer in the paranormal and a member of the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR). He traveled to numerous haunted sites with his daughter Melissa and even authored a book titled “Stories Best Told in the Dark,” documenting many of his paranormal experiences. He was fascinated by Big Foot and Aliens, and approached all of life’s mysteries with curiosity and wonder.
Frank was a selfless person who was always willing to help others in need. He had a green thumb and was a passionate gardener. Above all, he lived life to the fullest—singing, laughing, making memories with his grandchildren, and enjoying time with his family. He especially cherished traveling with his wife and was always excited to see new places.
Though he left us too soon, Frank’s impact remains everlasting. He made the world brighter, kinder, and more interesting. As his loved ones reflect on his life, they are comforted by the memories of his generous spirit and warm smile.
“If everybody was like you, we’d have a wonderful world.”
Rest easy, Frank. You were loved so very much.
