Frank J. Laczynski

FRANK J. LACZYNSKI, 97, of Chestnut Ave, Narragansett, died Thursday at Overlook Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Marguerite (Creighton) Laczynski. Born in Poland, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary (Burek) Laczynski. Mr. Laczynski was a gardener at Pt. Judith Country Club for many years before retiring and was previously a gardener at Burillville High School. He was a member of the Burillville School Committee for 18 years and enjoyed golfing. He is survived by three daughters, Mary E. Pallister of Cranston, Anne K. Herard of Harrisville and Jane F. Laczynski, with whom he made his home, of Narragansett; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was the brother of Catherine Laczynski of Milford, MA and the late Michael Lanchansky, Joseph Laczynski and Stella Gauthier. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Pascoag. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 PM in the AVERY-STORTI Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield.
