Francis T. Frank Maiorano

Francis T. “Frank” Maiorano, 84, of Bonnet Shores and formerly of Cranston, RI, died Wednesday February 15, 2012. He was the son of the late Raffaele and Domenica Maiorano. Beloved husband of Marie (Corso) Maiorano. Father of Marie and her husband City Council President Anthony Lupino of Cranston. Proud grandfather of Adam Lupino. Affectionately known as “Frankie the Banana Man” he owned the S. Corso Banana Company for many years. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Maiorano, Vincenza DiFillippo and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is the brother of the late Joseph Maiorano and Anna Weinberg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 AM in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Rd., Narragansett. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday 5-7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett, RI 02882.
