Francis W. Farrell

Francis “Frank” W. Farrell, 65, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday. Born in Providence, he was a son of Virginia (Burr) Farrell of Narragansett and the late Joseph Farrell. Mr. Farrell was a self- employed carpenter, working in the south county area most of his life. Besides his mother, he is survived by three children, Francis Farrell, Jr., Kristen Farrell, and Kathryn Farrell, all of South Kingstown; a granddaughter, Virginia Farrell; two brothers, Jeff Farrell of Narragansett and Patrick Farrell of Hope Valley; and three sisters, Peg Skuce of South Kingstown, Ginny Balano of South Kingstown and Katie Farrell of Charlestown. A committal service will be held at 1 pm Monday at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Visiting hours are at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Sunday, 4-7 pm.
