Evelyn Rossner, 81, of Charlestown, passed away at home on Sunday. She was the wife of the late Michael Rossner. Born in South Kingstown, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Alice (Belknap) Arnold. Mrs. Rossner was a former sales clerk at Wakefield Prescription, CVS on Main Street, and most recently Stop & Shop in North Kingstown. In her spare time she enjoyed playing the piano. She is survived by five children, Katharina Makuch of West Kingston, Anton Rossner of East Greenwich, Lydia Davis of Tennessee, Martin Rossner of East Greenwich, and Robert Rossner of Cranston; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Edna Bannister, Doris Park, Alice Gardner, Norman, Herbert, Harold, Irvin, Egbert and Kenneth Arnold. Visiting hours will be at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home , 88 Columbia Street Wakefield, Friday, 10 11 am, followed by a service at 11 am. Burial will follow in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston.
