Evelyn R. Robin

Evelyn R. Robin, 94, of Wakefield, RI, since 1994, formerly of Lansdale, PA, died Monday December 22, 2008 at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI. She was the wife of the late Henry A. Robin who died in 1990. Born in Flourtown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Eva (Hauck) Dettra. She attended school in Landsdale and Upper Gwynedd. Mrs. Robin had been employed as a salesperson with Koehler’s Jewelers, Lansdale for ten years and also with Musselman’s Department Store in Doylestown for fourteen years until retiring in 1976. She leaves two sons, Howard N. Hange and his wife Jean of Wakefield, RI and Norman Yeager and his wife Sherry of Taylor, SC; a daughter, Patricia Eldredge of Coco, FL; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ann Tilden and Florence Hunsberger. The funeral will be held Wednesday with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA. Burial will be in Lansdale Cemetery.
