Evelyn O. Roberts

Evelyn O. Roberts, 91. of Westerly, passed away peacefully on Wednesday. She was the wife of the late Edward Roberts. Born in West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Thure and Jennie O. (Oberg) Blade. Mrs. Roberts worked in the mills as a clothing inspector, and later for the Coventry and West Warwick School Systems. She was a former member of the Anthony Grange, where she enjoyed dancing. She loved to travel, and spent her winters in Florida and returned to Rhode Island for the summer. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Brown of Wakefield; a son Edward Roberts of Charlestown, NH; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
