Eugene David Costanza, Jr.

Eugene David Costanza, Jr. 75, of Peace Dale, died Friday. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Eugene D. and Matilda (Gallo) Costanza. Mr. Costanza worked for Electric Boat until retiring. He was a 25 year member of the Union Fire District Forestry Station and coached Little League Baseball for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing. He is survived by four children, Cheryl Texeira of Easley, SC, Douglas Costanza of Wakefield, Kimberly Costanza of Narragansett, and Jennifer Souza of Wakefield; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers, Gregory Costanza of Windsor, CT and Vincent Costanza of Cranston; and a sister, Janice Thayer of East Greenwich. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Monday 4-7 pm.
