Ethel L. Mowrey

Ethel L. (Gardiner) Mowrey, 76, formerly of Silver Spring Rd., North Kingstown, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was the wife of the late James Mowrey. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late George Sr., and Elsie (Barber) Gardiner. Mrs. Mowrey worked in housekeeping at South County Hospital before retiring. She was the twin sister of Alice Gardiner of South Kingstown, Doris Sixma of Virginia, Thelma Koukas of Narragansett, George Gardiner of South Kingstown, Robert Gardiner of West Warwick and the late Francis Gardiner, Roger Gardiner and Beatrice Smith. The funeral will be held Saturday January 12, 2013 at 9:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
