Eric W. James, Sr.

Eric W. James, Sr., 68, of North Kingstown, passed away Thursday October 3rd, 2024 at Kent Hospital. Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of the late Owen and Sarah (Briggs) James. He was the long time companion of Lorraine James,

Eric was known for his great sense of humor and being a jokester. He was a 1974 graduate of South Kingstown High School. Eric was very sociable and was a very creative and talented carpenter.

He is survived by his children, Eric W. James, Jr., Shannon Maynard and Scott James, Shawna James, Zachary Flesia, and Kassandra James, six grandchildren, a brother, Keith James and his wife Maria, and eleven nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Eric will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will be private.
