Emelie A. Arruda

Emelie A. Arruda, 66, of Wakefield, died unexpectedly Wednesday. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was a daughter of the late Omar and Kathleen Paquin. Mrs. Arruda was a Nurse’s Aide for many agencies. She could always be seen driving around town in her M&M Orange VW Beetle. She is survived by four sons, Daniel Plourde of Las Vegas, NV, David Plourde of Charlestown, Doug Arruda of Westerly, and Tony Arruda of South Kingstown and seven grandchildren. A celebration of her life was held this past weekend.
