Ellen B. Morrissey

Ellen Bresnan Morrissey, formerly of Smithfield, RI, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2017. Born on May 26th, 1967, she was a devoted mother of Timothy and Olivia Kaminski, of Narragansett, RI. Beloved daughter of Joseph and Virginia Morrissey of Charlestown, RI. Cherished sister of Joseph and Susan Morrissey of Smithfield, RI, Kevin Morrissey, Kerry Morrissey, Brian and Mary-Ellen Morrissey of Mansfield, MA , Catherine (Morrissey)and Joseph Bodell of Wakefield, RI and Carolyn (Morrissey) and Christopher Greer of Groton, CT. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ellen was a graduate of Smithfield High School and the University of Rhode Island and previously worked in the TV & Radio news business. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 22nd at 10:00 am in Saint Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett, RI 02882.
