Ellen Costanza

We are honoring our beloved mother, Ellen Costanza who peacefully passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, in the comfort of her home. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dunn and Elizabeth (Quigley) Dunn. Ellen was a graduate student of St. Mary Academy - Bay View.

Ellen was a Hostess at the Lachwood Inn for 25 years where she met many of her lifelong friends. She enjoyed reading and knitting in her free time as well as helping those in her community. She is known for her warmth and caring nature to her family and friends. Her routine phone calls and visits to family and friends will be dearly missed.

Ellen is survived by her children, Cheryl Houle and her husband Bill, Douglas Costanza and his wife Aurora, Kimberly Costanza, and Jennifer Souza and her husband Robert. Her 8 grandchildren, Asher Texeria, Alyssa Hawksley, Drew Texeria, Sarah Siart, Lauren Souza, Matthew Paton, Bennett Souza, and Rebecca Costanza. As well as her 2 great-grandchildren, Cameron Krikorian and Willow Texeria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High St, South Kingstown, RI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4pm to 6pm in Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St, Wakefield, RI.
