Elizabeth Thayer

Elizabeth "Betty" Thayer, 80, of South Kingstown passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, after a brief battle with Leukemia. She was the daughter of the late Chester Thayer and Susie (Jacques) Thayer. She is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Thayer.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Wakefield and a faithful member of Christ United Methodist Church. She was a loving sister to Ronnie who took very good care of her until his passing in November 2021. Betty was always quick with a smile and was always dancing. Upon her move to Golden Years Assisted Living she was dubbed "Tiny Dancer" for her constant movement.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 11:30 AM, at Christ United Methodist Church located at 2291 Kingstown Road, Kingston, RI.
