Elisabeth P. Spooner, 75, of South Kingstown, peacefully passed away, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at South County Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank A. Spooner and Harriett M. (Arnold) Spooner. Elisabeth was an artist who made and taught ceramics at her ceramic studio which was located in Warwick. She enjoyed sewing, baking and cooking. Elisabeth was an active member at New Life Assembly Of God and took great pride in hosting weekly bible study. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her greatest pride and joy, her nine grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Elisabeth is survived by her former spouse, Michael V. D’Ambra, her four children, Michael (Meredith), Mary Ann, Cindy, Robert (Kelly) D’Ambra, nine grandchildren, Michael (Molly), Joseph, Donald, Jane, Joshua, Isabella, Robert, Alexandra D’Ambra and Johnny Carraturo, a great grandchild, Michael Cooper D’Ambra, and two siblings, Frances Armstrong and William Spooner. A funeral home service for Elisabeth will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 9 AM at the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
