Eleanor D. Bolton passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, at Brookdale Senior Living in Coventry, RI at the age of 97 years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert E. Bolton, her parents Levia S. & Joseph P. Dimeo, and her two brothers A. Joseph and Thomas P. Dimeo.

She is survived by her four sons and their spouses, Robert T. Bolton (Lisa), Peter E. Bolton (Tony), Craig B. Bolton (Mary-Jane), and Joseph E. Bolton (Kim). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jared, Justin, Elizabeth, Joseph and Allison Bolton and one great-granddaughter, Elina Bolton.

Eleanor was known by her family and friends as Ele. She loved to entertain and to cook for her family and her many friends. For several decades, she lived in the Green Hill section of South Kingstown, RI. Ele will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.

Services will be private for the immediate family. She will be buried at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI alongside her husband.
